It was a crazy month as I tried to wrap up the holidays and start the new year! Over the past few weeks I have been focusing on decluttering our house and going through much of my vanity and closet. I only want to keep the things that I use, and since my vanity has some incredibly old products on the shelf, that was the first place to start.

I purchased another bottle of my favorite Colleen Rothschild Face Oil No. 9 because I must have this on hand for the cold and dry months! It’s something I buy every year and generally apply it over my moisturizer at night before bed.

I also tested out Gisou’s new honey infused lip oil which was surprisingly great in texture and wasn’t sticky like most glosses. This oil was technically a gift from a friend so I didn’t buy it, but I would definitely buy it again. It pairs well with other balms and shades, and I keep it in my bag for on-the-go hydration.

New to the round up has been Dae’s Fairy Duster dry shampoo. I’m not in love with the texture, but I had been wanting to try it for several months and am trying to use less aerosol dry shampoos (more on that in a later post). The pump feature works great, and it adds texture as well as soaks up dirt and oil.
