5 SPF Products I’m Taking Into The Fall Season

Don’t let the nip in the air fool you, it’s still important to goop up with your favorite SPF this fall!

This year, the first day of fall is September 22th. While I’m quite sure the pumpkin spice latte will have already made an appearance, it’ll still be in the 80s and very hot here in Florida! Living in a climate that is sunny year round means that not only are you slathering your body with sunscreen in the summer, but also well into the fall. Below are a few favorites that are not only great for warmer months, but can easily be incorporated into your winter skincare routine.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream – SPF 30

My holy grail moisturizer is the perfect product 365 days of the year. It’s not tacky and it layers well with other serums and foundations. Not only do I wear it alone on my “no makeup” days, but I also wear it under any tinted SPF that I apply.

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen Face – SPF 40

This scentless sunscreen doubles as a make up primer and gives you the same blurred finish that other primers have. If I know my day will have a lot of sun, I’ll apply this over my Elemis moisturizer so I can double up on the sun protection.

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen Body – SPF 40

Love the product above? Think of this as the same product but for your entire body! I use it on my neck and shoulders, and it doesn’t leave a sticky mess when coming into contact with my clothes.

EltaMD UV Clear Tinted – SPF 46

The two products I apply the most are my Elemis moisturizer and this tinted sunscreen. Instead of true foundation, I opt for this product which offers light to medium coverage. It’s formulated specifically for acne-prone skin (here I am!) and contains niacinamide to reduce redness in the skin. They carry a version without the tint if that’s your thing!

DIME Beauty Tinted Glow Wonderscreen – SPF 30

This product is typically too thick for my everyday makeup, but in the winter months it’s perfect. It also has a tad more coverage than EltaMD so you can use it for more than running errands around town. Use code RachelS at check out for a Dime Beauty discount!

If you need a water resistant option, I opt for the Alastin HydraTint Pro Mineral Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 36. It’s a similar consistency, but has the water resistant properties you need for beach/pool.
