Things I Bought This Month – February

February was one of those months that felt like an eternity. For whatever reason, I was already prepping for Spring even though I knew it would be a while before we’d get there! This month I focused on incorporating some new, high-quality products into my routine.

If you read last month’s post, you know I’ve been on the hunt for a good non-aerosol dry shampoo. The Dae dry shampoo was nice, but it had a bit too much texture for every day use. This month I opted to try Briogeo’s Scalp Revival dry shampoo and let’s just say I’m in love! It absorbs the oil from my scalp while still leaving my roots feeling light and fluffy (if that makes sense). The powder is incredibly fine and easy to brush through. *Update: It took me about two months to go through a bottle using it almost every day. That is a way better deal than most aerosol cans! Plus it’s travel-friendly and being only 1.7 ounces, it will fit in a carry-on bag.

The DIME Beauty Biome Body Butter has been a great addition to my routine during dry winter months. I did a full product review on my Instagram if you want to see it in action. As always, use code “RachelS” at check out for a discount!

One of my sisters got me hooked on this Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm recently and I am hooked! The Brown Sugar shade was my absolute favorite. It’s a sheer tint, but gives the prettiest cherry cola look which is trending all over the internet right now! If you can get your hands on a mini balm set, it’s definitely worth trying multiple shades at once. I should warn you, though, they are always sold out!

These vintage tee’s have been the perfect staple for when I want to wear something other than athleisure. They’re comfortable and look great with any pair of denim. I snagged the colors “Rose Dawn” and “Warm Taupe” and they’re also on sale right now! Here’s me styling rose dawn and warm taupe over on Instagram.
