Love a product but hate the price? Thus the invention of the dupe.
Most of us know what a dupe is. A “similar in spirit” style or item that doesn’t directly steal logos or trademarks, but instead might use a product for inspiration to create a similar, and usually more affordable, alternative.
I love a good dupe. They led me to my favorite dupe for Lululemon leggings!
It all started when something I wanted was out of stock…
I love this one pair of Lululemon leggings that I own. They were a gift and I’ve never been able to stomach the price of ordering a pair. Back in November I decided that there was one legging from Lulu that I couldn’t live without, so I asked for it as a birthday gift.
As luck would have it, the color sold out! Not only that, but it was online at resellers like Poshmark for 2-3 times the original price! I was not about to pay $300 for a pair of leggings, so I went on the hunt for a similar version of the color.

Dupes are never an exact replica, but for the price, this pair comes pretty darn close.
Now for the good news! Most of dupes this brand offers can be found on Amazon Prime. Not only that, but you can return them if you don’t think they’re up to snuff. What’s the risk?
My particular pair has over 3,000 reviews, but a lot of their listings have OVER 15,000 REVIEWS!
Okay, I’m done freaking out, but you get the picture.
I’d love to hear what you guys think about these leggings. I already have my eye on a new pair from the same seller because they’re so affordable. Have another good dupe you think I need to know about? Comment below or DM me on Instagram!
