Island Time

I’ve still got vacay on the brain and it has been NO fun transitioning back from island time!

I miss the beach, the smell of coconut sunscreen and the amount of snacks that were constantly within reach. While I normally dread packing, it was almost effortless trying to figure out what to bring to such a low-key destination. This was my favorite look of the week!

I stuck to simple and light-weight pieces that I knew I could easily mix and match. Living on island time is all about care-free pants and tops that give a relaxed feeling.

I made sure to bring several wrinkle-free cotton items, one versatile pair of heels (which also come in taupe) and the Panama hat (on sale right now!) that I take with me everywhere I go.

Did you know that I have two of the same hat?

I keep one in Florida and one in the Midwest so doesn’t get smashed every time I travel on an airplane. I felt like a genius when I figured out this trick. Instead of a girl in every port, I’ve got a hat in every port! Much more efficient.  🙂

Now that I’m back from vacation, I’m already up to my ears in to-do lists and upcoming travel arrangements! Because I’m bee-boppin’ around so much, most of the excitement has been going to my Instagram. I promise I’ll beef up my blog posts ASAP, but in the mean time, make sure you’re following along on Instagram to see additional outfits, videos and stories that never quite make it to the blog.

I just went to the Indie Beauty Expo and it was so much fun! See all the details in my Insta. Stories and let me know what you think about the products I tested.

The rest of the outfit details are below!
