There are so many good tanning products out there, and then there are the duds! I try not to spend too, too much on products when there are plenty of affordable options out there, but I can’t help but try all of them.
Below are some very affordable options for the self-tanning glam girl. Test them out for yourself and let me know what you think!
Pro Tip: Before trying these products on your entire body, do a swatch test on your wrist for 24 hours. It’s a good way to see how gradual each product is and you’ll know if the color is right for you.
Tanologist – Self Tan Water
This tanning water has very little smell and goes on clear. I use shade dark.
It’s one of the more affordable tan waters and it’s even available at a few grocery stores like Target! If you find yourself on a trip and wishing you had a quick tan, you can easily pick this product up while en route. Try the travel size for only $10!
Isle of Paradise – Self Tanning Drops
These tan drops can pair with your favorite lotion or moisturizer and are great for tossing in your bag on a trip. Using shade medium.
For less than $30, this is a great deal. I have used a few kinds of tanning drops but it’s hard to find high quality drops that don’t break the bank. This is a great middle option and you can use them in your favorite moisturizer or body lotion. I typically only use the drops on my face (with moisturizer) but you could absolutely use them with lotion all over your body. *Be sure to wash your hands really well after!*
St. Tropez – Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Face Mist
I use this bronzing water on my neck and face for a subtle glow without the harsh orange color.
While you could probably use this on your entire body, I don’t think it would be the most cost effective option. I’d recommend it for those in-between days when you don’t want a super bronze face, but need a bit of color.
