Farmacy Beauty

If you’ve been following along on my Instagram, you know that I am on the road a lot. That means that my skincare routine suffers if I’m not intent on making it a priority. I decided to try Farmacy beauty for a couple of weeks and it turned into a great addition to my routine!

When you travel, your skin suffers. It becomes dehydrated, tired, and is susceptible to new bacteria that irritates the skin. I’ve really wanted to emphasize clean products that use natural honey, SPF and non-toxic formulas on my skin. The Farmacy beauty family has an entire chart full of harmful ingredients that they have committed to not using in their products and it makes them even better to use!

Here are some of my favorite products that I got to test out.

Honey Drop Moisturizer

The Farmacy Honey Drop moisturizer works well to keep my skin hydrated. It contains hyaluronic acid which helps give my supple, softer skin and the natural honey helps fight off bacteria. How to use: After I cleans my skin, I take the small spatula and scoop an nickel sized amount into my hand. I warm it between my palms and rub into my skin.

Honey Butter Beeswax Lip Balm

This beeswax balm contains a power-packed three-C complex: coconut oil, cocoa butter and cupuaçu butter. Because it contains so many different moisturizing properties, I don’t feel like I need to keep several lip balms in my bag to get the job done. How to use: Apply morning and night, and any time you need a little lip love.

Green Screen SPF 30

Green Screen SPF is definitely my favorite Farmacy beauty product! The formula is non-greasy, and doesn’t leave any white residue on my skin. How to use: I typically add it as a base to my face, and then add a BB cream or foundation on top. I sometime mix it with a moisturizer or use it by itself. The best part is the size! It’s perfect for traveling and I make sure to rub the formula on my ears, neck, décolletage and shoulders for extra SPF coverage.

Clean Bee Gentle Cleanser

If you’re used to drugstore cleansers, you’ll find that Clean Bee is a bit thicker than most. It’s roughly the same consistency of warmed honey. The formula also smells like honey, and has a natural pH, acting as a very gentle formula for the skin. How to use: I use the formula on my chest and shoulders more than my face. Because I have a few other cleansers in the rotation, this cleanser gets used less. Want another use for this cleanser? I use this formula to wash my makeup brushes and it’s gentle enough to not strip the bristles!

More than ever before, skincare is a priority in my life. If you’re curious about my routine, or have specific questions regarding the brand or any products I use, comment below and I’ll answer them!
