We’ve got a short month of empties this time around! I don’t know if it’s because I was traveling, or if I ‘m getting more picky with my products, but for some reason we had fewer April empties than I anticipated. The good news? All of these picks have fantastic reviews!

Sol de Janeiro – Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and Coco Cabana Body Cream
I love a hydrating lotion, and especially one that comes in different size options. The Sol de Janeiro brand is a Brazilian brand that focuses on healthy, glowing skin. Their products also smell incredible with ingredients like açaí, coconut and plum. I keep a big jar of the body cream in my cabinet, and like to refill the smaller jars for when I travel. They are thick creams, but they absorb quickly, and don’t leave your skin feeling sticky!

Pantene Pro-V – Soothing Recovery Mask for Unruly Frizzy Hair, 7.6 oz (UNDER $4)

I put my hair through a lot, and I need a hard working conditioning treatment at least once a week. Because I use gobs of stuff, I need a brand that is high in quality but low in price. This Pantene Pro-V recovery mask is only $3.75 and can easily last you an entire month! I even use it as my main conditioner from time to time.

Aveeno – Daily Moisturizing Body Wash
Not into putting gobs of lotion on your body but still need some hydration? This is a great body wash for that! I have tried almost every product in the Aveeno line over the years, and they’re all fantastic. This body wash contains oats, and is soothing enough for even very sensitive skin. It’s also a very neutral scent, so it’s great for men and women. I keep an extra bottle in our guest bathroom because you never know what kind of skincare needs your house guests will have.
