Miami

I was in Miami this past weekend and didn’t bring my fancy camera so I thought I’d do an Instagram roundup of my trip instead!

Okay, first things first. I brought two bikinis for the weekend festivities. Both from Cupshe.com, you can find the geo print bikini here and the orange strappy halter bikini one here.

This adorable beach blanket was the perfect accessory for the weekend and was easy to fold up and take everywhere we went. I used it mostly on South Beach, but you could use it just about anywhere in Miami. It would be great by the pool, on a dock or as a picnic blanket in the park.

*Full disclosure* the beach towel is basically the same material as a bed sheet. It’s what I wanted so I wasn’t disappointed, but if you just read the “towel” description at checkout, you might be surprised when you get it in the mail. This blanket was my budget-conscious way of getting a look similar to The Beach People round towel without spending all my pennies before I even got to my destination.

Here is the link to the Indian Mandala Round Roundie Beach Towel Tapestry that I purchased for only $19 instead of $100 for The Beach People towel!

I also got these adorable Venera Laser Cut Birk Sandals from Charming Charlie and they’re only $10 right now! I’m seriously loving these end-of-summer sales because I’ll be wearing these for several months until it actually gets “cold” outside.

And last but not least are the products that were used all weekend! From cute sunnies (a necessity) to texturizing spray (to combat the humidity) I brought only the essentials. I also received both the texturizing spray and the after-sun repair lotion from the Birchbox shop so they were small enough samples to use up and throw away before I left. This meant less stuff to lug back home and more room for shopping and car snacks!

Lulu’s was this amazing brunch place in the Grove where we tried just about every aspect of the menu. The mini Benedict bites were delicious, but what I really couldn’t get enough of was the iced cortadito’s (cuban espresso) that  they served. Holy caffeine buzz.

As mentioned before, the two products below were my saving grace.

Make sure to click the product images for direct links to where I purchased them. If there’s one thing you should do to prep for Miami, it’s pack light! Both products were mini samples and great for on-the-go! There were too many to list, but if you want to see more of my beach proof makeup tips, or are uber curious about everything I brought, comment below and I’ll post more of my product secrets.

I think it’s pretty safe to say, that my weekend in Miami was a blast! I’m already starting to plan my next trip.  😉
