I don’t know why I keep waking up in the middle of the night, but when I do, it’s almost impossible for me to go back to sleep!
If you remember from my post a couple of weeks ago, I try to stay fairly organized because I think when your life is cluttered and overbooked, it makes it difficult to get enough rest to actually do all the things you need to do each day (it’s not rocket science, people). Anyway, since I couldn’t sleep AGAIN (big surprise) I decided to post another gameday look for the football game this weekend.
The theme for the Gators, since they are playing the Tennessee Volunteers, is “blue out.” Basically, the only rule is you have to wear blue since both teams have orange as one of their school colors. For any normal human this would be no problem, but since every team I have ever cheered for had some sort of orange in their arsenal, half of my closet is orange! As embarrassing as it is, this blogger had to scrounge around for blue items that would be gameday appropriate (meaning anything denim was out because it’s just too darn hot outside).
I settled on these adorable shorts from Francesca’s. Not only do they breathe really well, but they feel like pj’s, meaning they won’t be uncomfortable when we inevitably go into overtime. I found a similar Francesca’s shorts here, here, here, here and here.
This is definitely one of the easier outfits I have put together, but I’m comfortable and ready to cheer my team!
