Fringe Benefit

When it’s summertime, and the temperature can get up to 107 degrees, it’s easy to get complacent in one’s wardrobe. I keep finding myself going to my favorite tri-blend tee shirts and cotton shorts, instead of the mountain of cute clothes that I have in my closet.

I started to think about the best way to stay cool since August has just arrived and it doesn’t seem to be cooling down any time soon. I’ve stuck to fringe a lot not only because it means less fabric, but also because it can dress up a fairly simple outfit without trying too hard. It’s a unique style that happens to be trending, and I’m milking it for all it’s worth.

The one item I’ve yet to snag for my closet is a fringe dress. Shorts and tops seem to be all over the place, and even fringe shawls have resurfaced in stores, but I’m still on the hunt for a dress.

I’ve compiled my favorite fringe for the moment and they’re linked below.
