Birthday Weekend

It’s officially my birthday weekend! It occurred to me that I always post about my birthday weekend after the fact. It runs into Thanksgiving time and then I completely forget all about posting when I’m staring at a platter of mashed potatoes and stuffing. This year, however, I’ve decided to post about my birthday before it actually happens.

I can’t predict the future, but I sure can plan for it. Every year for my birthday, I get all gussied up in clothes that make me feel fabulous, like this off-the-shoulder blouse from Tobi. I put on fun heels, make my hair extra big, and try to make as big a deal of it as possible! I’m hoping I can still get away with this tradition when I’m 45. 🙂

Full Of Favorites

Birthday’s should be full of favorites. I believe that if you can swing it, you should take the entire week/month doing all of your favorite things. It’s such a good mood booster and and is a great way to take a relaxing approach to what can often be a hectic time of year.

I go to all of my favorite stores, eat all of my favorite foods, and watch all of my favorite movies. It’s my way of doing something for me! I take the entire month and try to hit up the happiest places where they serve birthday samples like Sephora, Starbucks, Panera, and a few more.

More than anything, I want to be with the ones I love. I am blessed to share a November birthday with two other siblings. It’s also right before Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday!

This season, take time to do a few of your favorite things. Thank you all for making my birthday feel so special!
