“…and just like that, the sun peeked through the clouds, and it was Spring…”
If I wrote a book, these would be the words on the final page.
I don’t know what it is about the changing of weather to mark special times in our lives, but I’ve watched too many Nora Ephron movies not to feel it in my bones when something new is coming. There’s just one problem. Every time you embark on a new adventure, you have to make sure your previous journey is finished.
The cold weather is coming to a close and so are many projects in my life. Even though people try to wrap up 2016 on December 31, it’s not so simple. I’m in the middle of cleaning up what looks like a war zone, but is actually my office space. I had so many last minute orders before Christmas, that I didn’t have a chance to organize everything before going to Colorado for the new year.
I am also in the process of finalizing my taxes from the first year since announcing The Closet Dime Etsy Shop. That, in itself, is a very daunting project. Not only am I a total newbie when it comes to filing taxes, I really don’t want to do anything that could mess up my shop!
The few big to-do’s in my life are driving me a bit nutty, but then I remembered one little thing.
It’s. Almost. Spring.
Mark my words, people. When Spring finally hits, it’s going to be amazing! I’m talkin’ outdoor yoga, eating on the patio, and having a pair of sunglasses in every purse. It also means new blog posts, new Etsy shop designs and new risks with my personal style.
It’s be the best season yet, and it starts right now!
